Peck, 47, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, formerly of Confluence, died Aug. 5, 2000. He was born June 19, 1953, and was preceded in death by his father, Ivan E. Peck, and brothers, Randy L. Peck and Marty S. Umbel. He is survived by children, Kimberly and her husband, Philip Saiz, of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.; Shaun Peck of Friendsville, Md., and Steven Peck of Harnedsville, a granddaughter, Michelle Saiz, Mother, Loraine Umbel, of Reynoldsburg, sisters, Sharon and her husband, Robert Wilson, of Oakton, Va., and Lisa and her husband, John Bradley, of Reynoldsburg, a niece, Lauren Bradley, nephew, Spencer Bradley, and a close friend, Ellen Case. Also, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served on the U.S.S Belknap Missile Carrier. He was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School and the DeVry Institute of Technology and was employed by Lucent Technologies as a senior technical associate, development environment engineer. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the United Community Church of God in Ursina, where friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Rev. Duane Riddle will officiate. Private family burial at a later date. Those who wish may contribute to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association in memory of Stanley's brothers, Marty and Randy.
