"Larry" Peffer, 80, Jennerstown, died Feb. 3, 1986, at Mercy Hospital Nursing Care Center, Johnstown. Born July 4, 1905, in Mammoth, he was a son of William A. and Adeline (Fultz) Peffer. Preceded in death by parents, five brothers and two sisters. Survived by widow, the former June Newman. Brother of: Elvin M., Blairsville, and Mrs. Hilda Bronson, Lycippus; also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Moxham Colonial Church of the Brethren, Johnstown, and Retired State Police Association of Pennsylvania. He was a retired state police sergeant with 27 years service. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. John D. Byers officiating.
