  PEIFFER
  
  Evelyn M. Whipkey Peiffer, 68, of Acme, Pa., died July 11, 1982, in
  the Latrobe Area Hospital.  She was born March 29, 1919, at Jones
  Mills, daughter of the late John and Mattie (Mognet) Pyle.  She is
  survived by her husband August Peiffer, and these children: Ronald
  Whipkey, Wadsworth, Ohio; Donald Whipkey of Ligoneir; Michael Whipkey
  of Acme; Betty Hug, Springfield, Va.; Mildred Grace of Boswell; and
  Mrs. Lonnie (Donna) Aebersold of Modesto, Calif.; 18 grandchildren,
  including David Whipkey of Somerset whom she reared: eight
  great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Edna) Lena of New
  Derry; and Mrs. Richard (Georgia) Carnes of Waterford; one
  half-brother, John Pyle of Jones Mills.  She was predeceased by her
  first husband Wayne Whipkey, one brother, four half-brothers, two
  sisters and two half-sisters.  Friends will be received at the Clyde
  Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711 in Melcroft, from 7-9 p.m. Monday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday where services will be held Wednesday at
  11 a.m. with the Rev. Walter Aiken officiating.  Interment in the
  Bakersville Cemetery.
