  Helen M. (Laskus) Pelesky, 81, of West Pitt St., Jennerstown, died
  July 24, 2000 at home.  Born Jan. 7, 1919 in New Philadelphia, Pa.
  Daughter of Joseph and Dora (Miskudie) Laskus.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband Michael Sr. on June 15, 1993 and brothers Joseph,
  Albert and Francis.  Survived by children: Dolores married to John
  Panek, Johnstown; Christine married to Eric Graham, Greensburg;
  Michael Jr. married to the former Barbara Woznick, Jennerstown;
  Joseph married to former Barbara Cavallo and Alan, married to the
  former Theresa Reckner, both of Boswell RD; grandchildren, Michele
  Hoffman, Kristin and Stephen Graham and Jennifer, Allyson, Cory,
  Nicole and Sarah Pelesky.  A sister of Ann married to Warren McCauley,
  Mt. Ephrain, N.J., Valeria Deriscavage, Mahoney City, Pa.; Marguerite
  Laskus, and Edward Laskus, both of New Philadelphia, and Anthony
  Laskus and wife Marge, Orwigsburg, Pa.  Member of All Saints Catholic
  Parish.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m.
  Tuesday.  Funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Church,
  Boswell, Rev. Father Martin Breski, OFM Cony.  Commital, St. Mary's
  Cemetery, Jenners.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lee
  Regional Hospice, 117 Work Drive, Johnstown, Pa. 15904 or the
  American Cancer Society, 168 West Union St., Somerset, Pa 15501.
