Preceded in death by parents and a sister, Irene. Survived by widow, the former Sophia (Bednarski) Boncoski. Survived by these step-children: John Boncoski, Toledo, Ohio; Pete Jr., Akron Ohio; Jean Ann Davitch, Akron, Ohio; Edward Boncoski, Donegal; Mary Jane Lepley, Boswell; Rose Kuhns, Ligonier; Joseph Boncoski, Somerset; Richard Boncoski and Tessie Walylko, both of Johnstown. Was a brother of Peter, Jerome; and Caterina of Italy. Member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome; Veteran of World War II; member of Jerome American Legion Post 802 and Tire Hill Local UMWA. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m until 9 p.m. Friday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St. Boswell. Mass of Christian Burial 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome, the Rev. Hubert Konieczny O.F.M. Cony., officiating. Interment, Church Cemetery.
