  Gerald N. "Jerry" Penrod, 31, of Randall Drive, Boswell RD, formerly
  of Thomas Mills, died Aug. 14; 1998, at home of his mother.  Born Nov.
  17, 1966, in Johnstown.  Son of John W. and Laura (StClair) Penrod.
  Preceded in death by father on June 18, 1993.  Survived by mother and
  sister, Karen L. Penrod, both of Boswell RD 2; brothers: Randy J.,
  married to the former Luann Watkins, Jenners; Barry A. and fiancee
  Tina Kline, and William J., both of Boswell RD 2, and Robert E.,
  Boswell RD 1, and very special friend, Brenda Harrington and her
  children, William and Tiffany, Boswell.  Also nieces and nephews:
  Rana, Jonathan, Laura Lee, Barry Alan Penrod and Matthew Smith.
  Former employee of Berkey Excavating.  Friends received from noon to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Rime, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell.  Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
  Monday at the Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray, the Rev.
  Joseph Beer and Rev. Alan W. Hess officiating.  Interment, Beam
  Cemetery, near Gray.  Memorials in Jerry's name may be made to Mt
  Laurel UCC Building Fund, 1209 Mysertown Road, Boswell, Pa. 15531 or
  "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa 15501.
