  PENROD
  
  Joseph Penrod, 93, Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 23, 1974 at home of his
  nephew Clayton Penrod.  Born Dec. 10, 1880 in Westmoreland County, a
  son of John and Mary Speicher Penrod.  Preceded in death by parents
  four sisters and two brothers.  Survived by a brother John H. of
  Boswell RD 1; also a number of nieces and nephews.  Was a retired
  stonemason and a member of Benscreek Lutheran Church.  Friends were
  received after 12 Sunday and will be received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  Monday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home. 227 Allegheny St.,
  Boswell where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the
  Rev. Arthur L. Mentzer officiating.  Interment Thomas Mennonite 
  Cemetery.
