STANLEY PERDEW Jerome Stanley Perdew, Jr., formerly of Meyersdale, died Jan. 26, 1989 at New Rochelle Medical Center, New Rochelle, N.Y. Born July 15, 1920 in Cumberland, MD., he was the son of the late Jerome S. Perdew, Sr., and Mrs. Lula Perdew, Baltimore, MD. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Laura Perdew, New Rochelle, N.Y. and the following children: Brenda Rumgay Blake, of New Jersey; MSgt. Robert, of Ellsworth AFB, S. Dakota; David, of Shelton, Conn.; Richard, Lorie Mooney and Margaret DiNapoli, all of New Rochelle, N.Y. Also a sister, Lester Lee Dickinson, FL, and a niece and nephew; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A grandson, Michael "Mikey" Mooney preceded him in death. He was a veteran of WWII, was an active member in the Boy Scouts of America Center of Durland, N.Y. where he taught scuba divlng; was employed by County Welding in White Plains, N.Y. Services were held in the Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle, N.Y. Interment, Jan. 30, in Rye, N.Y. The Republic, February 9, 1989 [P0290]
