Peretti, 83, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Somerset, died June 19, 2003. Born Sept. 16, 1919 in Garrett the son of The late Joseph and Annie (Racosta) Peretti. He was married to the late Mary Burke for 48 years. Also preceded in death by his brother Joseph Peretti of Somerset. He is survived by his second wife Irene Guay Peretti, three children: Patricia Peretti Gelpi and her husband Robert Gelpi of Mesa, Ariz., Phillip S. Peretti and wife Julie Brant Peretti of Germantown, Md. and Mary Etta Peretti Legarski and husband John Legarski of Williamsport, three sisters: Mary Peretti Olson of Roseville, Calif., Margaret Peretti Maricondia of Mt. Pleasant and Frances Peretti Reddick Haer of Meyersdale. Mr. Peretti has six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Peretti served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer during World War II. Early in his career he worked for Howard Johnson's on the Pa. Turnpike from 1966 to 1979. Mr. Peretti owned and operated Peretti Beer Distributors on East Main St. in Somerset. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A vigil for the deceased will be held 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Church in Somerset, Rev.
