  BESSIE PERIAN 
  
  Bessie Perlan, 66, Border Street, Hollsopple, died May 11, 1981, at
  Windber Hospital.  She was born March 9, 1915, in Meyersdale, daughter
  of Drew Ward and Bertha Mae (Fike) McClemens.  She was preceded in
  death by parents; husband, John, who died Aug. 8, 1971; infant
  daughter, Adrienne; and an infant brother.  She is survived by
  daughter, Mae Jean, wife of Ray Snyder; also two grandchildren,
  Stephanle and Jason.  She was a sister of Theodore, Youngstown, Ohlo,
  and Laverne, wife of Homer Diehl, and Nora, wife of John Mastillo,
  both of Hollsopple.  She was a member of Bethel United Methodist
  Chureh and church choir; was a Sunday school teacher; member of Talus
  Rock Girl Scout Council of Johnstown.  Friends were received at George
  E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville.  Funeral services were held at
  Bethel United Methodlst Church, the Rev. Lawrence Raughley III,
  officiating.  Interment, Friedens Lutheran, Cemetery.
