Born Jan. 21, 1909, in Boswell. Son of Wenzel and Mary (Reckl) Perian. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Victoria Mattern and Mary Perian, and brothers, John, Fred and Frank. Survived by sister, Grace Brosman, and niece, Carol Brosman, with whom he resided. Also survived by several other nleces and nephews. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell; Boswell Post 461, Amerlcan Legion, and Johnstown Chapter 2, DAV. Disabled Army veteran of W.W. II. Recipient of the Purple Heart. Wounded in action in France. Retired miner and painter. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
