  Mrs. Ruth N. Perian, 77, of Boswell RD 2, died May 31, 1978 at
  Latrobe Area Hospital.  Born Jan. 19, 1901 in Scottdale.  Preceded in
  death by parents; foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Baer; husband,
  Rudolph in 1949; infant daughter; infant son; daughter, Alta Deine
  Lewls; sister, Mary McCann; and two infant brothers.  Survived by
  these chlldren: Alverta, wife of James Law, Stoystown RD 2; Carl A.
  of Ligonier, married to Vivian, daughter of Agnes and Andy Percherke;
  Linda L., wife of Jerry Walters, Jennerstown; 16 grandchildren; and 21
  greatgrandchildren.  Sister of Edna, wife of Homer Winters; and Ethel
  Baer, both of Boswell; and Robert, Washington, D.C.  Member of St.
  Andrew's Lutheran Chureh, Boswell, and auxiliary to Boswell Volunteer
  Fire Department.  Retired employee of Nancy Carol Corp., Boswell.
  Frlends received from 3 to  9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  Saturday and until 1 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, when body will be moved to St.
  Andrew's Church to lie in state until time of service at 3 p.m., the
  Rev. George A. Clark of ficiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.  There will be no viewing of the body at the church.  The
  auxiliary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the fire hall.
