  PERSAVICH
  
  Nick Persavich, 74, of Stoystown died Nov. 22, 1998, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers Mike and John; and
  sisters Anne and Mary.  Survived by his wife of 50 years, the former
  Sophie Makris: sons: William and wife Claudia of Chardon, Ohio, and
  Warren and wife Anita of Centreville, Va.; six grandchildren.;
  brother Frank and wife Polly, and sister Kay and husband Frank
  Safarik, both of Central City.  Retired Chevrolet mechanic.  Member of
  St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Central City.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Short service at
  the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, followed by burial service
  at 10 um. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, Central City.  The Very Rev.
  John Govrusik.  Interment, church cemetery.  Memorial contributions may
  be given to the American Heart Association.
