  PERSUN
  
  Carl Douglas Persun, 74, Trout Run (Pa.) RD 1, died Sunday, July 1,
  1990, in Williamsport Hospital.  He was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Cogan
  House Township, Lycoming County.  Son of the late Ira Arthur and
  Florence E. (Connelly) Persun.  He and his wife, the former Edith A.
  Beach, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Jan. 1, 1990.  He
  is survived by his wife; two sons, Charles I., Trout Run RD 1 and
  Mark D., Somerset.; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Miller, Union
  Deposit, Dauphin County; one brother, Charles C., Trout Run RD 1; 3
  sisters: Mrs. Marion G. Nienheuser, Trout Run RD 1; Mrs. Doris J.
  Wheeland, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Virginia Wentzler, Muncy RD 2.  Also
  survived by five grandchildren.  He was a member of the First church
  of Christ (Disciples), Williamsport.  Friends will be received from
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, Williamsport,
  where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Bradford R.
  Ryder officiating.  Interment, Summit Cemetery, Cogan House Township.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First
  Church of Christ (Disciples), 1250 Almond St., Williamsport, Pa.
