DOROTHY PETENBRINK

  Mrs. Dorothy (Winner) Petenbrink, wife of Bryan Petenbrink, died Tuesday, 
March 19, at the age of 23 years, in the Miner's Hospital, Frostburg, Md., after 
being hospitalized for five weeks.  She was a daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Race 
Winner, and the late Frank Winner of Eckhart.
  Her husband, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Petenbrink, Wellersburg, was serving 
with the armed forces in Brazil, when he learned of his wife's illness.  He was 
flown home by the Red Cross and discharged March 15.
  Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Petenbrink is survived by four brothers, 
James, Gilbert, John and Ronald Winner, all of Eckart; and two sisters, Misses 
Vivian and Eleanor Winner, at home.  The couple had no children.
  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the home of her mother, with 
the pastor of the Eckhart Methodist Church, of which she was a member, 
officiating.  Interment was made in the Eckhart Cemetery under the direction of 
the Hafer Funeral Home.
