  OSCAR PETENBRINK
  
  Oscar W. Petenbrink, 75, of National Highway, LaVale, Md., died
  Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at his residence.  Born Sept. 23, 1922, in
  Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Norman L. and Mary E. (Mazer)
  Petenbrink.  He was preceded in death by two wives, Ruth (Shumaker)
  Petenbrink and Josephine (Forman) Petenbrink.  He was a member of the
  Mount Carmel Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.  He was a retired dairy and
  beef farmer and was also retired from Bauchman Surplus City.
  Survivors include two daughters: Carol Lepley, Gainesboro, Tenn.; and
  Mary Kay Kennell and husband, Wellersburg; a sister, Betty Brown,
  Meyersdale; a special friend, Alice Deal, Meyersdale; and
  grandchildren: Michael Lepley and wife, Gayla. and A.J. Lepley, all
  of Tennessee; and Heather Kennell and Melissa Kennell, both of
  Wellersburg.  Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills
  Mortuary, LaVale, Md.  Funeral services were held at the Mount Cannel
  Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, with the Revs. Mel Kirk and Larry Hoover
  officiating.  Interment, Mount Carmel Lutheran  Church Cemetery.
  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Petenbrink to
  Mount Cannel Lutheran Church, or to White Oaks Willing Workers.
