  PETERMAN
  
  Daniel Peterman, 84, of Stoystown RD 2 died April 7 1973, in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  He was born May 2, 1888, in Somerset County, son
  of the late Daniel and Idella Wade Peterman.  He was also preceded in
  death by his first wife, Catherine Rhoads.  He is survived by his
  widow the former Vada Livengood; children, Mrs. Joseph (Irene)
  Saponsky of Stoystown; Mrs. Glenn (Ruth) Boyer and Robert of
  Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Carrie Reed and Daniel Jr. of Lockport, N.Y.:
  and Peggy and  Roy, at home; 17 grandchildren; and 30
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs. Jennie Schreffler, Mrs.
  Margaret Rodgers and Christley, all of Stoystown; and Mrs. Minnie
  Shaulis of Somerset: He was a retired coal miner and saw-miller.  He
  was a member of UMWA Local at Tire Hill.  Family will receive friends from
  7-9 p.m. today and from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Charles R. Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted 2 p.m.
  Wednesday by the Rev. J. R. Peterson assisted by the Rev. L. J.
  Walker.  Interment in IOOF Cemetery, Stoystown.
