  Mrs. Violet E. Peterman, 67, of Stoystown RD 3, died March 14, 1975,
  in residence.  Born March 30, 1907, in Moshannon, daughter of Frank
  and Susan (Schreffler) Hipple.  Preceded in death by parents and two
  brothers, James and Marlin.  Survived by husband, William J. Sr.; and
  these children: William J. Jr., Mrs. Harold (Betty) Hoggard, both of
  Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Dorothy M. Boyer, Stoystown RD 3; and Mrs. Glenn
  (Judy) Reckner, Jenners; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
  She was a sister of John, Mrs. Harry Hall and Mrs. Robert Roberts,
  all of Snowshoe; Mrs. Blanche Roan, of Bellefonte; Edward, of Panama
  City, Fla.; and Robert, of Las Vegas, Nev.  Member of Mostoller United
  Methodist Church.  Death ended a marriage union of nearly 50 years.  The
  couple would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary April
  22.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. J. Wesley
  Spahn officiating.  Interment, POFA Cemetery, Hooversville.
