L. Petersheim, in Elk Lick Township, July 11th, 1940, after having been stricken by paralysis about 3 weeks ago, in her 88th year. She was born near Aurora, W.Va., and was a daughter of Christian Petersheim. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Yutzy, of Arthur, Ill., and by a half- sister, Miss Leah Petersheim, of Norfolk, Va. The funeral service was held at the Amish Mennonite Church at Niverton, of which the deceased was a member, Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas, mortician, of Salisbury. Meyersdale Republican, July 25, 1940
