  PETERSON
  
  Loretta C. Peterson, 89, of 204 W. Main St., Ligonier, died April 9,
  1995, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 4, 1906, in Connellsville,
  daughter of the late George W. and Gertrude (Mefford) Case.  Preceded
  in death by husband, Rex A. Patterson, M.D., who practiced in
  Ligonier from 1936 to 1955.  Survived by sons, Joseph A., Rockwood RD
  3, and Rex A., Greensburg; also four grandchildren and 4
  great-grandchildren.  Member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Ligonier, where she participated in the Dorcas Class.  Private service
  will be held at convenience of family under the direction of Wilbur
  D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.  Interment, Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
