Born May 3, 1895, in Hamilton Palace, Scotland, a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Cowan. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Morgan D., who died April 29, 1958, two brothers and two sisters. Survived by these children: William of Pasadena, Calif.; LeRoy of Petersburg, Va.; David of Pasadena, Fla.; and Clara, wife of Patsy Terlingo Jr. of Hooversville; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a sister of Mrs. Barbara Palmer of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Georgina Haddow of Cairnbrook. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell, ladies aid society of the church, and auxiliary to the Boswell Volunteer Fire Department. Resident of Boswell for many years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday (today) and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Fred M. Bennett officiating. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
