Born July 10, 1920, in Maple Ridge, the son of Basil and Clorinda (Ghezzi) Petet. Preceded in death by parents and these brothers and sisters Lena Moranduzzo, Albert and Louis Moranduzzo, Elda Lichvar. Survived by wife of 58 years the former Leora Shaulis and these children: Duane, married to the former Dianne McDannell, and Marlene married to the Calvin Hearn both of Hollsopple; also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Rose Eash, Hollsoppple, Emma, married to Clyde Good, Davidsville. Member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren and Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. Retired from Island Creek Coal Company and loved farming. Family receiving friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. Pastor William Wenger officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
