  George P. Petras, 36, Tayman Avenue, Somerset, died Nov. 8, 1983, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 16, 1947, in Indiana, Pa.,
  son of George and Mary (Hudock) Petras of Clymer.  Also survived by
  wife, the former Connie Ratay; and two chidren, Heidi and Nichole.
  Brother of: Paul J. of Indiana, Pa., and Mrs. William (Mary Elaine)
  Reeves, Milwaukee, Wis.  A mathematics teacher at Somerset Junior High
  School.  Active with Somerset Ambulance Service and a member of the
  Somerset Volunteer Fire Department and American Legion.  Graduate of
  Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Veteran of Vietnam Conflict.
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at
  the Hauger Funeral Home and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Harry Bence Funeral Home, Clymer, Pa., where service will be
  conducted 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.
  Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Clymer.  In lieu of flowers, family
  requests contributions be made to the Somerset Ambulance Association.
