  GEORGE J. PETRO 
  
  George J. Petro, 67, of Windber, died June 28, 1982, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born September 4, 1914, in Windber, he was a son of Michael
  and Anna (Sokol) Petro.  Preceded in death by parents, brother,
  Michael, and infant sister and brother, he is survived by his widow,
  the former Mary (Nahorniak) Klapak; son, Vincent Klapak, Beaverdale;
  and daughter, Dorothy Jean, wife of Edward Petro, Hobart, Ind.; also
  grandchildren, Mary Kay and Kenneth Petro.  He was a brother to
  Andrew, of Gary, Ind.; John, of Confluence; Ann Cordek, Johnstown;
  Mary Sliko, Fifficktown; Margaret Knapp, Windber; Pauline Zvonik,
  Central City; Steve, Stony Point, N.Y.; and Edward Hobart.  Friends
  were received at the Henry Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber.  A Mass of
  Christian Burial was said at St. John Cantius' Catholic Church,
  Windber, with the Rev. Bernard Przybocki officiating.  Interment
  Richland Cemetery.
