  HILDA L. PHENICIE
  
  Mrs. Hilda L. Phenicie, 77, of Garrett, died Jan. 12, 1979 at Takoma
  Park, Md.  Born March 31, 1901 in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of
  the late Abraham and Alfaretta (Rumiser) Shultz.  She was preceded in
  death by husband, Clay M; one grandson; one sister; and three
  brothers.  She is survived by these children: Frank of Berlin; Clay
  Jr., of Amarillo, Texas; Jack of Martinsburg, W. Va.; and Dale of
  Beltsville, Md.; also 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren;
  She was a sister of Calvin of Hyattsville, Md.; and Mrs. Martha Stark
  of Gaithersburg, Md.  She was a member of the Church of the Brethren,
  Garrett; American Legion Auxiliary and the Garrett Senior Citizens.
  Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. William Phenicie officiating.
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
