She was a daughter of William H. and Ida (Kimmel) Miller, both deceased, and was born April 16, 1882. Surviving are her husband, Lee A. Phenicie, of Garrett; one son, William F. Phenicie, principal of the Garrett Public Schools; two sisters, Mrs. E. G. Fidler of Garrett and Mrs. W. W. Rohm of Hughesville. Two grandchildren also survive. A former resident of Armstrong County, Mrs. Phenicie moved to Garrett about 43 years ago and was since that time an ardent worker and member of the Garrett Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 Tuesday afternoon in the Garrett Church of the Brethren by the pastor, the Rev. A. J. Replogle of Salisbury. Interment in the Highland View Cemetery in Garrett.
