  FRANK PHENNICIE 
  
  Frank McKinley Phennicie, 62, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Berlin RD
  1, died Oct; 15, 1983, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital; Born June 21, 1921,
  In Somerset County, son of Clay and Hilda (Shultz) Phennicie.  He was
  preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Gary Wayne, who died in
  1974.  He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Brant; a son, Frank
  M. Jr., Randallstown, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. L; Allan (LeAnn) Ellis,
  Berlin RD 1; seven grandchildren: Gary, Gail, Michael, Shawn, Julie,
  Brett and Jill Phennicie; also two step-grandchildren: Raymond
  Dorschel and Pamela Krupper; three brothers: Clay, Amarillo, Texas;
  Jack, Martinsburg, W.Va.; and Dale, Beltsville, Md.; and several
  aunts and uncles.  He was a member and deacon of the Beachdale Church
  of the Brethren.  Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Herald V. Seese
  officiating, assisted by the Rev. Blair Harshbarger and Pastor L.
  Allan Ellis.  Interment, Beachdale Cemetery.
