SAVILLA PHENNICIE

  Mrs. Savilla (Romesburg) Phennicie died at her home in Garrett Thursday 
evening.  She was 74 years old at the time of her passing.  She was a daughter 
of the late Samuel and Dinah (Miller) Romesburg and the widow of Robert 
Phennicie who preceded her in death by nine years.
  Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Mabel Sheeler, Stoystown; Mrs. L. 
S. Williams, Somerset; and Dewey, at home.  The following brothers and sister 
also survive: Norman Romesburg, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Frank Romesburg, Hyndman; 
Theodore Romesburg, Smithsburg, Md.; and Mrs. Louise Yutzy, Garrett.  Five 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.
  Funeral services were conducted at Hauger Funeral Home in Somerset Sunday 
afternoon, Rev. Glenn Keidel officiating.  Interment in Highland Cemetery, 
Garrett, in charge of Charles R. Hauger, mortician, of Somerset.
