  PHENNICIE
  
  Rev. William F. Phennicie, 85 of Meyersdale RD 3, died July 25, 1995,
  at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Nov. 26, 1909, in Garrett; A son of
  the late Lee A; and Maude (Miller) Phennicie.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Mollie Sweeney.  Survived by two daughters: Barbara,
  wife of Neil Albright, Altoona, and Nancy, wife of Harvey Moser,
  Meyersdale RD 3.  Six grandchildren: Mark Albright, Houston, Tex;;
  Gary Albright and David Albright. both of Altoona; Jeffrey Moser,
  Meyersdale; Bonnie Yommer, Grantsville, Md., and Andrew Moser,
  Meyersdale.  Twelve great-grandchildren: Travis, Heather, and Alex
  Albright; Sarah, Maggie and Graham Albright; Rachelle, Corenne and
  Matthew Moser; Brandi, Kristin, and Keena Yommer; Lifetime member of
  the Garrett Church of the Brethren, Garrett.  He was ordained as a
  minister in 1967.  Rev. Phennicie served his home church in Garrett as
  pastor until his retirement on May 1, 1992.  He also served as pastor
  of the Summit Mills Church of the Brethren from 1960 until the church
  closed.  He had 40 years of service in the Garrett and Meyersdale
  schools where he was a teacher and high school principal.  Friends
  will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Garrett Church of the Brethren,
  with Pastor Daniel Whitacre officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery
  Garrett.
