  Mary (Nider) Philip, 86, Meyersdale Manor, formerly of Garrett RD 1,
  died Aug. 14, 1993, at Meyersdale Hospital.  Born March 10, 1907, in
  Berlin, daughter of Wasco and Catherine (Minko) Nider.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Samuel; sons, Charles and Samuel O., and
  brothers, Wasco and Nicholas Nider.  Survived by son, John, married to
  the former Blanche Berkley, Garrett; daughter, Ann, married to William
  Snyder, Sebring, Fla.; also daughter-in-law, Ruth Elaine Philip,
  Meyersdale; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.  Sister of
  Michael of Meyers-dale; Andrew, Rochester, N.Y.; Anna Karas and
  Catherine Ralston, both of Binghamton, N.Y.; Rose Ann Custer, Bel
  Air, Md.; Stella Fisher and Martha Nedrow, both of Fort Myers, Fla.
  Member of SS. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Goodtown.
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, with Parastas at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
  Brief service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral
  home, followed by Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul's
  Church, Goodtown, Very Rev. John Govrusik officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to SS.
  Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church or Meyersdale Manor.
