  Ruth Elaine Philip, 69, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Nov. 28, 1996 at her
  home; Born Dec. 4, 1926 in Summit Township, a daughter of the late
  Hiram and Edna (Miller) Walker.  Also preceded in death by her husband
  Samuel O. Philip Jr., August 1970; and a brother Charles.  Survived by
  these children: David Lee Philip, Meyersdale RD 3; Denver Walker
  Philip; married to the former Ginger Folk; Berlin; Diane, wife of
  Barry Sechler, Meyersdale RD 3; Darlene, wife of Jack Fullerton,
  Meyersdale RD 4; and Dawn, wife of Stephen Mapes, Somerset; seven
  grandchildren, Jason and Jill Philip, Jodi and Ashley Sechler, Amy
  Fullerton and Kiel and Alaina Mapes.  A sister of Mary Jane, wife of
  Lawrence Bittner, Beaver; Janet, wife of the late Dale Dupohl,
  Castalio, Ohio; and Joan, wife of Don Mankamyer, Meyersdale RD 3;
  Also a number of nieces, nephews and dear friend, June Walker.  She
  was a retired cook at the Meyersdale Elementary School.  Friends will
  he received front 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted at 2 p;m; Saturday at the Zion
  Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, where the body will lie in state from 1
  p.m. until time of service.  Pastor Randall Marburger officiating,
  Interment Fritz Church Cemetery.  Memorials may take the form of
  contributions to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. P.O. Box 88,
