  Alta Marie Phillippi, 90, Rockwood, died Aug. 10, 2004, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center, Meyersdale.  Born March 30, 1914, in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township, a daughter of Elmer Eli and Stella Leona (Nichols) Sanner. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Roy Glenn Phillippi, who died June
  16, 1996; brothers, Frank, Orville and Oscar Sanner; sisters, Cora Gary,
  Melda Phillippi, Gladys Peters, Pauline Cresswell and Ethel Kimmell. 
  Survived by children: Mrs. Warren (Shirley) Miller, Rockwood; F. Wayne
  Phillippi, married to the former Barbara Geary, Somerset; Harold C.
  Phillippi, married to the former Charon Johnson, Garrett; Larry E.
  Phillippi, Rockwood; Mrs. Larry W. (Nancy) Ringer, Rockwood; nine
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Attended Rockwood Alliance
  Church.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where service will be conducted 10
  a.m. Friday.  The Rev. Randall Bain officiating.  Interment, Rockwood
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
