Phillippi, 82, Austin Road, Geneva, Ohio, died Sept. 17, 2001 at St. Vincent's Charity Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. Born July 13, 1919 in Markleton. Daughter of John A. and Myrtle W. (Mitchell) Williams. Preceded in death by her husband Homer in February of 1999; her parents; two brothers, John Williams and Paul Lytel; five sisters, Pearl Murray, Hazel Friedline, Goldie Hutzell, Etta Mae Chapin, and Olive Peters, and a great-grandson. She is survived by a daughter, Kay LaRusch, Geneva, Ohio; a son, Melvin Phillippi, of Lakeland, Fla., 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She lived in Geneva for 20 years. Had worked as a licensed practical nurse for 15 years in nursing homes. Worked at Con-Lea, and Broadway nursing homes in Geneva, Broadfield Manor in Madison, Ohio, and Somerset Hospital in Pennsylvania. Previous member of Geneva Eagles Auxiliary. Enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking. Attended Geneva Church of Christ. A service was held Saturday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Markleton, Rev. Peter Forman, officiating. Interment, Mt.
