  CHARLES W. PHILLIPPI 
  
  Charles W. Phillippi, 73, of Somerset RD 1, died Nov. 17, 1980, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born July 25, 1907, in
  Middlecreek Township, son of the late John R. and Etta (Trimpey)
  Phillippi.  He was preceded in death by wife, the former Luzeba
  Hemminger, four brothers and one sister.  He is survived by the
  following children: Lois, wife of George Burket, Markleton RD 1; Mary
  Jane, wife of Dale Edmiston, and Charles L., both of Rockwood;
  Charlene, wife of the Rev. Harold Crawford of Fairmount City; nine
  grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of John S.
  of Charleston, W. Va.; Earl of Rockwood RD 3; and Gladys, wife of
  Robert Baker, Rockwood RD 1.  He was a member of Somerset Church of
  God.  Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Dennis Buchanan
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
