ELMER E. PHILLIPPI

  Elmer E. Phillippi, 57 years old, died suddenly Wednesday morning at his truck 
which he had taken out to load some stones.
  He was born July 13, 1884, at Centerville, a son of Elmer and Anna Phillippi.  
He was united in marriage with Anna Hostetler and has lived in this vicinity for 
the past 40 years.
  Surviving are his wife and four children; namely, Letha Hays, Elwood City; 
Leora Osler, Meadville; Guy, Tarentum; and Lemsine at home.  Two brothers, 
Charles, Bakersville, and Eli, Cassellman, and two sisters, Ida Meyers, 
Markleton, and Edna Dewyer, Rockwood, also survive.
  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. in charge of Rev. J. S. 
Shannon of the Confluence Lutheran Church.  Interment in I.O.O.F. Cemetery at 
Kingwood.  Funeral director, C. B. Humbert, Confluence.
