All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ELMER PHILLIPPI Elmer Phillippi of Markleton, who was injured on Monday on the Western Maryland Railroad, by being thrown from and run over by a motor car on which he was riding, sustaining numerous injuries about his head, face, chest, left leg, as well as internal injuries, died this (Thursday) morning at 12:40 in the Confluence hospital. He was the husband of the former Verna Seigner, to whom he was married Sept. 8, 1944. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Phillippi of Markleton and was aged 34 years, 7 months and 7 days. Private funeral services will be conducted Saturday at the Konhaus Funeral Home, by Rev. K. A. Ashman. Interment will be made in the family lot in the Markleton cemetery, in charge of Mortician Konhaus. Meyersdale Republican, April 12, 1945
