  PHILLIPPI
  
  Elwood L. Phillippi, 58, Confluence, died April 27, 1988, at his
  residence.  Born March 29, 1930, in Addison Township, a son of the
  late Charles L. and Cecile (McClintock) Phillippi.  Survived by three
  sons, Dale, Lee and Wayne; six grandchildren; three sisters: Pauline
  Lewis, Nelda Norris and Nancy Snodgrass; a half-brother, Charles
  Phillippi Jr.; and a half-sister, Tammy Phillippi.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Friday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Richard McClintock
  officiating.  Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery.
