  H. MARNE PHILLIPPI
  
  H. Marne Phillippi, 54, of Rockwood, died Feb. 5, 1973, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 8, 1918, in Rockwood, he was a son of
  Herbert and Maude (Moore) Phillippi.  Surviving are his wife, the
  former Vivian Meyers; three sons, M. J. of Rockwood; Von and Cary,
  both at home; one granddaughter, and a brother, James, of Rockwood.
  He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood; Somerset
  Sons of American Revolutlon; Somerset IOOF; Somerset VFW and Windber
  American Leglon.  He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean
  confllct.  He belonged to F & AM Lodge 358, Somerset; Harrisburg
  Conslstory and Jaffa Shrine of Altoona. Funeral service was held
  Wednesday afternoon in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood, with
  Rev. Clarence Moore officlating.  Interment in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery,
  under the direction of William J. Wood Funeral Home.
