  PHILLIPPI
  
  Helen Marie Phillippi, 88, Somerset RD 5, died Dec. 20, 1996, at her
  residence.  Born Dec. 7, 1907, in Listie.  Daughter of the late John M.
  and Mary (Sampson) Hill.  Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford
  Ray Phillippi, who died Sept. 5, 1995, and brothers: Robert, John,
  Edward, Walter, Alex, Thomas E. and Paul Hill and a great grandson,
  Stephen Onstead.  Survived by these children: Ray E. Phillippi,
  married to the former Nancy Miller, and MN. James C. (Martha)
  Onstead, both of Somerset RD 5; grandchildren: James A. Onstead of
  Somerset RD 5, Mrs. Timothy (Cheryl) Weimer of Somerset RD 1, Stephen
  Onstead, married to the former Fritz Cavvathas of Somerset RD 5; Mark
  A. Phillippi, married to the former Donna Troup of Somerset;
  great-grandchildren: Samantha and James Onstead, Cassic and Chelsey
  Weimer and Jessica Onstead.  Sister of Mrs. Ida H. Snyder of Akron,
  Ohio.  Member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. 1926 graduate
  of Friedens High School and a 1930 graduate of Indiana Normal School.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at I0 a.m.
  Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Rev. David S.
  Jack and Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Hill
  Cemetery.  There will be viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until time
  of service.  Contributions may be made to: Pleasant Hill United
  Methodist Church Building Fund, Somerset RD 5, Pa. 15501.
