Philippi, 48, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Casselman, died Dec. 21, 1987 in the Beaver County Medical County. He was born April 22, 1939, in Casselman, a son of Edward and Sadie Phillippi. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sadie Phillippi, of Casselman, his wife Mary (Hinzy) Phillippi, of West Bridgewater. Also these sons: James M. Jr., Fort Dix, New Jersey; Timothy A., at home; Mark, at home and Todd Kaladzeij, of Beaver; one daughter, Miss Lucinda, at home; his daughter-in-law, Tina Lindeman, of Meyersdale. Also brothers: Clyde, of Rockwood; Gene, of Pittsburgh; Milton, of Rockwood RD 2; Kenneth (Bud), of Somerset; George and Alvin, both of Rockwood RD 3; one sister, Mrs. George (Mary) Spangler, of Rockwood RD 2; one grandson, Chad William Lindeman, of Meyersdale. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and two sisters. His death terminates a marriage union of 25 years. He attended Rockwood Area High School, was a member of the Latter Day Saints, Beaver County; was employed as a foundry worker at the General Alloy Casting Company, Rochester. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. with Bishop Nelson officiating. Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood with Francis Brady supervising. The Republic, December 24, 1987 [P0454]
