  PHILLIPPI
  
  Jean P. Phillippi, 71, of Rockwood, died March 27, 2003 at the home
  of her son in New Centerville.  Born April 8, 1931 in Gray, she is the
  daughter of the late Harry and Cora (Sanner) Gary.  Also preceded in
  death by her husband, Charles O. Phillippi, sister: Judy Gary and
  brothers: James, Harold and Orville Gary.  Survived by children:
  Teresa Baker and special friend Bill Housel of Sipesville and Merle
  R. Phillippi and special friend Amy Ohler of New Centerville;
  grandchildren: Jennifer Baker, Nathan, Ashley and Jordon Phillippi.
  Sister of Mrs. Dwaine (Betty) McClintock of Confluence, Mrs. Darwin
  (Nola) Hoover of Rockwood and Howard Gary and wife Sarah of Garrett;
  sister-in-law Carol Gary of Rockwood.  She was active in senior
  citizens groups and enjoyed bingo.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Friday and from to a m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
  Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Rev. Patrick Walsh
  officiating.  Interment in Laure Cemetery.
