  PHILLIPS
  
  Alice Phillips, 89, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Somerset, died April
  25, 1996, at her home.  Born March 31, 1907, in Norwich, Conn.
  Daughter of Emil and Celia Johnson.  Preceded in death by parents, and
  her husband, George D. Phillips.  Survived by two sons: George D. Jr.
  and Bruce J. Phillips, both of Pittsburgh, and one brother, Richard
  Johnson of Connecticut.  Also two grandchildren: Ethan and Morgan
  Phillips. Funeral service and interment will be private.  A memorial
  service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.  Arrangements by
  John A. Freyvogel Sons Inc., Pittsburgh.
