  Beatrice Irene Phillips, 71, of Audrey Lane, Somerset, formerly of
  Gray, died Dec. 28, 1998, at Somerset Hospital.  Born June 15, 1927,
  in Gray, daughter of George and Evelyn (Racey) Phillips.  Preceded in
  death by parents, and infant sisters: Yvonne and Carol Ann.  Sister of
  Sarah Jane, at home; George, married to the former Bonnie O'Neal, West
  Farmington, Ohio; Anita, Salisbury, and Roy, married to the former
  Sandra Shroyer, Stoystown RD; also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews, including special niece Vicki Stafford, with whom she
  resided.  Member of First United Methodist Church, Somerset;
  I.L.G.W.U. and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jennerstown Fire
  Department.  Retired employee of the former Dorfman and Hoffman
  Garment Factory, Boswell; also formerly employed at Burger King on
  the turnpike.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Patricia M. Nelson
  officiating.  Interment Beam Cemetery near Gray.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 168 W.
  Union St. Somerset or "In-Touch" Hospice 1590 N. Center Ave.,
  Somerset PA. 15501.
