  PHILLIPS
  
  Catherine (Goniak) Phillips, 92, Pittsburgh, died Friday, Oct. 15,
  1999, in Pittsburgh.  Born Sept. 8, 1906, in Humbert, a daughter of
  Kasimierz and Mary (Stasenko) Goniak.  Preceded in death by parents,
  husband, Michael, sisters, Anna Hopfield and Mary Enos, brother
  Goniak and stepson, Leonard Phillips.  Survived by daughters: Mary Ann
  Borneman, Pittsburgh; Shirley Pusateri, Sebring, Fla.; and Patricia
  Gales, Confluence; also stepdaughter. Ann Kumerow, Cleveland, Ohio.
  Ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  Member of the Catholic
  War Vets and retired from Allegheny County Tax Office after 25 years
  service.  Friends will be received Tuesday at the John Gmiter Funeral
  Home, 15th St. (Southside) Pittsburgh.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10
  a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Monastery, Southside.  Interment, St.
  Ann's Cemetery, Castle Shannon.
