  Christina V. (Maccone) Phillips, 88, Church of the Brethren Home,
  Scalp Level, formerly of Boswell, died June 15, 1995, at the home.
  Born March 29, 1907, in Latrobe, daughter of John and Catherine
  (Zenoe) Maccone.  Preceded in death by parents and husband, John J.,
  in 1944.  Survived by these sisters: Theresa Berkebile, Church of the
  Brethren Home; Mary Kovatch, Latrobe; Martha Berkebile, Kantner, and
  Margaret Vaccarina, Cleveland, Ohio.  Also survived by numerous nieces
  and nephews.  Member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church,
  Johnstown, and ILGWU.  Retired employee of the former Dorfman and
  Hoffman garment factory, Boswell.  Friends received front noon until 4
  p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and until time of service at 2
  p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell,
  with the Rev. Michael L. Hollinger officiating.  Interment, Ligonier
  Valley Cemetery.
