  ELIZABETH STIVER PHILLIPS 
  
  Elizabeth Stiver Phillips, a native of Meyersdale, died Tuesday,
  Sept. 10, 1985.  She was a daughter of the late William and Jenny
  Stiver.  She was the sister of Lucy Stiver Friedland and the late Mary
  M. Naugle; mother of Betty Jane Straub, Nancy P. Barr, Peggy L.
  Smeltzer.  While in her teens, Mrs. Phillips moved from Meyersdale to
  the Washington, D.C. area.  Memorial services will be held in the
  Silver Spring area on Sept. 21, 1985.
