  Joyce N. Phillips, 65, Arlington, Texas, formerly of Confluence, died
  April 20, 1996, at Arlington Memorial Hospital.  Born Dec. 6, 1930, in
  Confluence, daughter of the late Alma B. (Lytle) and Burley M. Harris
  Jr.  Also preceded in death by daughter, Sharon K. (Phillips) Blair.
  Survived by son, Rex Allen Phillips of Cogan Station and 3
  grandchildren: Logan S. Blair and Amber Blair, both of Bloomfield,
  Ind., and Alexander Waite, Arlington, Texas; 4 sisters: Dora Elsetta
  Moore, Hyndman, and Lena E. Linderman, Alice M. McClintock and Alma
  B. Basinger, all of Confluence, and a brother, Burley M. Harris III,
  Roanoke, Va.  Past Worthy Matron of the Day Chapter 479, O.E.S., of
  Lorain, Ohio.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. George Mason officiating.
  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.  Family suggest memorial contributions to
  the Phillips family.
