Born April 18, 1907, in Westmoreland City. He was son of the late William and Betsy (Right) Phillips. Also proceded in death by two brothers. Survived by his wife, the former Ruth Hemminger and these children: Dolores (Dolly), wife of Dean E. Maust of Cornwells Heights and Millard married to the former Donna Sheftic of Exton, Pa., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Sara Franke of Boswell, Mrs. Thelma Cidor and Mrs. Florence Mongeluzzio, both of Barnesboro, Mrs. Betty Mosckol, Cleveland, Ohio; John of Jenners. He was a member of Orient Lodge 289 F & A M in Philadelphia; a member of the Penndel Redeemer Lutheran Church. Family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home in Davidsville, where prayer services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in the Hoffman Lutheran Church the Rev. William Snyder.
