  PHILLIPS
  
  Mrs. Pearl V. Phillips, 80, of Hookstown RD 1. died Sept. 11, 1974 in
  Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.  Born April 28. 1894 in Washington
  County, the daughter of the late David and Lucy Gray Van Syoc.
  Survived by her husband, Joseph S. Phillips; one daughter Mrs.
  Charles (Lucy) Scott of Jefferson; two sons, D. Kenneth Phillips of
  Hookstown RD 1 and Joseph L. Phillips of Berlin RD 4; 16
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received
  from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday (today) at the Marriner and Milligan Funeral
  Home, 197 North Maiden St., Waynesburg.  Funeral services will be
  conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. from the funeral home with the Rev.
  Henry A. Young.  Interment, Green County Memorial Park.
