   Sarah Jane "Sally" Phillips, 76, Berlin, formerly of Gray, died Oct. 10, 2007, at
  Meadow View Nursing Center. Born May 24, 1931, in Centre Township, Indiana County,
  daughter of George and Evelyn (Racey) Phillips. Preceded in death by parents; infant
  sisters, Yvonne and Carol Ann; and sister, Beatrice Irene Phillips on Dec. 28, 1998.
  Sister of George, married to Bonnie O'Neal, West Farmington, Ohio; Anita Alkire,
  Somerset; and Roy, married to Sandra Shroyer, Koontztown. Also survived by numerous
  nieces and nephews including special niece, Vicki Stafford, Somerset, with whom she
  formerly resided. Graduate of Somerset high school class of 1950. Member of First United
  Methodist Church, Somerset, and "Unite Here," formerly the ILGWU, former member of
  Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Retired employee of the former Dorfman &
  Hoffman Garment Factory and the Somerset Burger King on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Viewing
  from 9 until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation
  Services, Allegheny Street, Boswell. The Rev. Dale Shunk and the Rev. Linda McElroy
  co-officiates. Interment Beam Cemetery, near Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the
  American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501, would be appreciated.
